UW forward recruit Mike Mersch and defenseman Aaron Harstad from Stevens Point have been chosen to play for the United States U-17 Select Team which will participate in the Five Nations Tournament next month in Slovakia. The complete team roster can be found here.

Meggan Duggan, Erika Lawler and Hilary Knight have all been named to the UW Women's Under-22 Select Team.

Former Badger Rene Borque was traded from Chicago to Calgary, while Brian Elliott is still waiting to see if he will be a backup in the NHL for Ottawa next season, or a starter at the AHL level.
[i>Edit: Looks like the Senators signed Alex Auld to be the backup goaltender, meaning Elliott is most likely destined to be a starter in the AHL this season.[/i>
Three Wisconsin players made the All-Star Game at the Girls National Select 17 Camp. Team Blue defeated Team White 4-0. Amanda Kessel helped lead Team Blue with a goal and two assists while Jamie Kenyon chipped in an assist. For Team White, Brianna Decker had a penalty.
UW forward recruit Mike Mersch has reportedly accepted a spot on the U-17 United States National Team Development Program. Frankie Simonelli, another UW recruit and Mersch's teammate with Team Illinois in the past has also reportedly accepted a spot with the team as well.
Hockey's Future continues to put out draft reports for each NHL team. A few reports that I have not yet linked to and include Wisconsin Badger players are Montreal, who drafted Patrick Johnson and the Rangers, who drafted Derek Stepan.

The Girls Select 17 Camp is underway. Here's a list of the Wisconsin players in attendance, and stats on their performance so far:
Brianna Decker-#8 Gold-Has five goals and five assists for ten points and one penalty in three games. Decker leads the camp in points, with the next highest total being just six points.
Lauren Unser-#17 White-one goal in three games.
Corinne Immoberstag-#4 White-In three games has one penalty.
Amanda Kessel-#17 Red-Has a goal and two assists in just two games. She is tied for ninth overall in scoring for the camp.
Jamie Kenyon #12 Black-Leads her team with three goals and one assist in just two games. She is tied for fifth overall in scoring for the camp.

D-Frankie Simonelli (Bensenville, IL) Team Illinois midgets, Wisconsin recruit-Finished with two goals and five assists for seven points with seven penalties in five games. Tied for third in scoring on his team, and tied for fifth in scoring for the camp.
F-Ryan Belonger (Green Bay, WI) Green Bay Jr. Gamblers midgets-Scored two goals (one was short-handed) and two assists for four points in five games. Also had one penalty.

D-Nolan Kirley (Hayward, WI) Hayward H.S.-In five games had one assist and three penalties.
F-Mike Mersch (Park Ridge, IL) Team Illinois midgets, Wisconsin recruit-Tied for the scoring lead on his team with four goals and three assists for seven points and two penalties in five games. His point total put him in a tie for fifth overall at the camp.

F-Max Gardiner (Minnetonka) Jake Gardiner's brother & potential UW recruit-Had two points in five games, one goal and one assist. He scored his goal in the fifth game. Also had three penalties.

D-Jose Delgadillo (Milwaukee, WI) Milwaukee Jr. Admirals midgets-In five games he notched an assist and six penalties.
F-Chris Eick (Appleton, WI) Green Bay Jr. Gamblers midgets-Tallied a goal and two assists for three points and a penalty in five games.
