One of the truly great guys in the coaching profession passed away Thursday night as Norb Wishowski of Milwaukee lost his battle with diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.
Wishowski, who had celebrated his 73rd birthday earlier in the week but was of ill health the past couple of years, is the first coach in Wisconsin prep basketball history to capture state championships in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and Wisconsin Independent Schools Athletic Association (WISAA).
Information on Wishowski, South Milwaukee senior Andy Smith and former Kenosha Tremper forward Kyle Jeffery are included in today's Wispers. - read article..
