It just started guys! Any predictions? Any surprises on the first day? Homestead losing to Brookfield East..... Are they any good with losing their star midfielder? Arrowhead doing well.... Germantown and Hartford both with victories... Any thoughts?

I think it is too early too start looking for surprise teams. Now if thje soccer coaches website would let the average person (not a coach) look at who they think are teams to watch that would be interesting.

I was at a HS Quad meet on Saturday and I saw some of the most obnoxious parents I have evere witnessed. In fact the ref even kicked one parent out of the park. It just showed the poor sportmanship of those people while their kids even won the game. Just wondering has anyone else ever seen a parent kicked out?

WOW all Madison and Milwaukee kids. I would have to think some kids from other areas could make the 1 or 2 team rosters. What about the kid from Kettle Morraine who had 35+ goals? Kenosha or Racine schools? What about the goalie from DePere? Did you see this kid at state? That team made it to the semifinals and should get a kid or 2 on the all-state rosters. Marquette, Muskego, Hartland, and the brookfields should dominate the all-state rosters, no disagreement there. Eau Claire Memorial was pretty good as well. d2 and d3 should get some representation as well for these team.

Seriously? All Milwaukee area kids? Thats kind of pathetic. Can I ask where the 2007 State POY came from? Yeah, not Milwaukee. Here's a little bias, but Neenah can be a Milwaukee soccer KILLER. Ask Pius, Homestead, MUHS, Kettle Moraine, anyone.

i believe that if there is a WIAA violation a player cannot be awarded a postseason award for All-State. Some conferences also do not allow award recognition for a violation. Personally, I think that is a mandatory rule for all sports. If a kid commits a violation they should be allowed any accolades, keeps the kids accountable. Sorry missed the kid from Tremper. I just think there are more kids out there besides Milwaukee kids that deserve all state. Based on what the past has shown for All-State selections, DePere should get a kid on all-state, lucky or not they made it to the semifinals. They had to be atleast okay to win a game at state because once you get to that level you cannot judge it all on luck. Green Bay Notre Dame has a kid that is going to UWGB name Anthony Santaga. He should make all state, most likely 2nd team. FVL had a kid named Paul Steubs score over 35 goals and win state. Catholic Memorial Aiden Bennett? Kohler's Zittel, Casper from Racine St. Catherine's. Just a couple of other names.
