I really wld disagree with that.... I just think that this proves that this conference is open and fair game between Benton,Potosi,Cassville, and River Ridge..... I really think that benton is the best team in the conference... 12-4 record 5 game winning streak, some big wins over cassville and Barneveld, and won by double didgits!I think they will prove it against potosi thursday nite! this young benton team is starting to Gel and come together! really Clicking on all cylinders! jst getting better and better every game! this cld be a team to still consider in deep playoff run or possibly another trip to kohl center... tough to really say tho bc their sectional is loaded with teams such as randolph,SCC,Barneveld,Monticello!

D4 is going to be interesting come Playoff time!

I do not disagree that Benton is the best team in the league right now, but to say that they will return to the Kohl Center this year is an extremely bold statement. I wish them the best of luck and hope they do, but you have be realistic as well.

Unfortunately, I do not feel that tonight will be a good barometer of their abilities because Potosi is not the same team they were to start the year. They have two freshman moved up, who imo are not prepared to play at the varsity level. They lost a starting guard who would not be considered a playmaker by any means, but was solid and provided another scoring option.

February will prove to be a pivotal month for a number of teams in the Six Rivers West. Good luck to all.

Potosi actually has 3 freshman that were moved up...and Hanson has been out for the past 3 games...im not trying to make any excuses by all means but having a 6'6 guy out on the floor will usually help with a couple things...benton is starting to play some pretty good ball lately and correct me if im wrong but i think they have already played the top teams in the conference twice, so i could see them winning out the rest of their confernce games.
