i live in an area where the try county basketball is looking like practice dummies in training more then a feeder program. for the last few years it seems like the coaches have put their son and their son's friends on the so called A team instead of going after the top guys in the program. and what happends in the end is that theese kids get to their junior or senor year and never see the floor. is this a problem in the madison memorial area or in other places as well. and don't say recruiting because only 2 transfer guys have gotten real minutes at mad memorial.

Tri-County basketball is a all volunteer group of men and women who want to help teach basketball to the youth of the area. Most of the time parents are the only ones available to coach and are willing to put all that time in with NO PAY.

i understand that, but at the same time they also hold try outs and they place kids on teams based on skills. so its a little more then rec ball, and to the kids who are placed on a lets say a B- team and its clear that they our better then a lot of guys on that a team. do we say well the coach is a parent who is doing it for free so deal with it. i'm not trying to say anything bad about the coaches but i always though when you're trying to make the best team you pick the top players that are presented to you.

Strictly in YOUR opinion. Would YOU like people to second guess your ethics or judgement on your team ?

It is the "ALL LEADER AREA" team, pure and simple.
