If you call going 12-1 not threatning...then i don't know what is. Simply put Springs was the better this year and losing Schuller to injury hurt Edgar in the game against Springs. Granted, we may have become used to Edgar only giving up 20-30 points all year, and scoring 50+, but they were still a very powerful team this year.

See there is where your wrong. Edgar played nobody all year and it just showed in that St. Mary Central game.
Ball for Heisman
Packers should pick up Lamichael James
Rodgers for MVP

FTFY

If you look at their Regualar season SOS there is not much of a difference there.

Regular Season SOS (Strength of Schedule)

Edgar: 37-52 (.415) 5 Playoff teams
Springs: 38-50 (.431) 6 Playoff teams

Both played nearly the same number of playoff teams in the regular season and nearly have identical SOS in the regular season.

Yes Edgar got blown out, but saying that Edgar played no one this past season can also be applied to SMS. SMS returned almost everybody and Edgar, despite being a bit smaller in size this year still made it to level four.

Sms played much better teams than edgar...Every one thinks the marawood is so good because of two teams, stratford and edgar. Then the conference drops off..Just not a great a conference overall..
