LOL! This seed meeting will be epic! I covered every criteria and have 3 teams tied.
I'm wondering what is the final tie-breaker for seed.
Strength of Schedule or Conference Standings.
FVL got the final nod because of their defensive play that's how close my seeds were....
I'll take their full-court press any day to seed higher.
Kinda reminds me of Algoma's press.
Looking at the bottom half. Had to go with some traveling distances for first round games.
Toss up for some. LC plays in a tough conference.
Researched some of the D2 teams and who they played and felt that they were not that strong so
felt to give the nod to LC.
Northland Pines went with my gut.

good stuff, we have to keep this going, pick the games when the seeds come out, there is no clear cut favorite to win this regional, my interest is how does WB compare to the big 3 of the EVC.

The seedings in D2, Sectional 3, Bracket A are (officially):

1. Monona Grove
2. Waunakee
3. Reedsburg
4. Baraboo
5. Madison Edgewood
6. DeForest
7. Mount Horeb
8. Portage
9. Monroe
10. Sauk Prairie


Pretty tough top five in that grouping; I could see any of those teams winning this group.

nice looking bracket, surprised that FVL only got a 3 seed, this sets up well for Witt-Birn to make a run, how good is Freedom? Towney give me a run down on the big 3 from the EVC, rank them 1 thru 3 on how you think they are playing right now, any injuries?

the potential round 2 matchup of the 5th seed Oconto Falls at the 4th seeded Witt-Birn should be a heck of a game, last year WB got blown out at Oconto Falls in round 2, but this year they get the home game and return the whole team, had no seniors last year, O Falls graduated their big girl who dominated that game, the winner of this likely to get a shot at the 1 seed Freedom in round 3.

all that will not be enough, Wega is good, beat conference champ Amherst last night by 10, they have a very athletic big in the 6' 1" Hellwig, good luck!

FVL got fleeced in the seeding, they now beat Xavier twice, and are co champs with Freedom but yet got the 3 seed behind Xavier? when they meet again in round 3 it will be at Xavier, should be the other way around.

Nothing on the docket tonight, so I was thinking about watching Sun Prairie vs. East tonight. I have never seen Dyer play and think it would be worth the trip. Thoughts?
