Algoma had a 8-0 run during the quarter to take as much as a six point lead, but the Knights closed the gap to end the half. Lichfuss with three 3-pts in the half. For Lourdes, Bartlett and Petermann with 2 fouls each in the half.

Also, Kewaunee up by 6 over Brillion early in the 2nd half.

Algoma stormed back on 2 3pters by Taylor Jossie and 1 by Abby Bluett in route to a 15-0 run. With about five minutes left to play Lexi Petermann had a rough fall out of bounds and played with a noticeable limb the rest of the game, but hit the step back three with about 1:30 left to put Lourdes up for good. Petermann led all scorers with about 28 points. All but two of Lourdes points in the second half were by Petermann.

Owen-Withee is going to give Newman a pretty good game. I have no doubt in my mind they will play right with them.

Marshfield's Taylor Varsho missed at least half the game with foul trouble before fouling out and the Tigers' other starting guard, Darian Molter, missed at least a third of the game with 4 fouls. Marshfield's bench, especially freshman guard Ellie Kummer and senior guard Leah Ripp, came up big handling the ball and playing defense.

#2-ranked Chippewa Falls ends their season with a 23-2 record while unranked Marshfield moves to 20-5 thus far.
