I was at the game sitting behind the scorers table and it was more impressive in person. After the dunk Points bench went wild and #44 Scott Hoezel was jumping up and down and was almost to the three point line. The ref sprinted over and gave him a major body block back into the seats. Best hit of the night. Look at the replay and you can see the ref running from the left side of the frame right at the player. Too bad they fall out of the frame before you see Hoezel almost fall over the bench chairs.

Anyway great dunk, great game.

That guy in the gray sweatshirt with the santa hat probably pushed about 15 people after that dunk.

kid always could jump, too bad it didn't work out for him at duluth or oshkosh. Hopefully he finds himself a home at point, he is a very good player.

I think he should be thankfull he no longer is with Minn-Duluth. They are not as good as point IMO and lost to UW- Superior.

The dunk was shown on ESPN SportsNation today. Colin Cowherd and the other lady talked about how the guy from Elmhurst got posterized. Pretty sweet to see UWSP on ESPN. I was at the game also, and it was by far the coolest dunk I have ever seen in person.

It was a great dunk but lets not forget he's 6'4". Still awesome that he basically dunked over the guy. Now if Jerelle Harris does the same thing I'll be wowed.

Not so sure. Marcus Helland transferred to UW-Superior.

UMD is 4-6 this season barely beating some of the NSIC's also-rans.

Something is amiss there .. not sure what!

Horrible news, Dan has injured his knee and is out for the year. I guess he hurt it this past weekend. I don't know the exact details yet.

This is not true and is blown out of proportion. Dan has a strained acl and slight tear in meniscus and should only miss a few weeks.

You guys are right, that was great preventive officiating by the trail. The last thing you want to do is hit the team with a T in that situation. Clean it up and drive on!
Without officials, it would just be recess!

Semling confirmed on his post game interview that he would be out just a week or two.

That's great news, I had just heard from a pretty reliable source that he "blew his knee out" so I assumed the worst, glad to hear he will be back soon.

Is he having ortho on the meniscus tear? Is so, thats a minimum of 4 weeks and probably 6 with therapy.

Didn't sound like it. Sounded more like rest, ice and rehab.

From what I heard last night they are targeting the LaCrosse Jan 9th game for Tillema to come back and dunk over people. They should have no problem with vitberbo or Oshkosh so it really doesn't matter. I think they will need him for LaCrosse.
