The Warhawks come back from 18 points down in the 2nd half to defeat Cabrini College 63-60 in the D-3 national championship game. It is UWW's 3rd national title (1984, 1989). They are the first school in D-3 history to win national titles in football and men's basketball in the same academic year, and the third overall in NCAA history.

This year, my brother's athletic training program for UW-Milwaukee had his internship go through UWW. His sports were football and men's basketball. Good time to have an internship I would say! WSN'er since 2002! 2006 Wissports Hall of Fame Inductee.
