2012 Wisconsin AAU Boys State Championship results from Stoughton & Verona this weekend:


10U / 4th grade - State Champions

11U / 5th grade - State Runner - Ups (2nd place)

12U / 6th grade - State Champions

13U / 7th grade - State Champions

14U / 8th grade - State Champions

Wow, that's impressive. Looks like Playground Elite is the new state power on the AAU circuit. 4 state championships, and 1 runner up is impressive. Combine that with the talent they have at the HS level and thats domination at its best IN MY OPINION. Good job guys, you're doing some good things over there.

And when was the last time the state aau tourney had any solid competition? 2006?? Last weekend any good team went out of state....this tournament means nothing

Remember for middle school "State" is important if they want to qualify for Nationals and get a good seed. The out of state tournaments last weekend were more for the high school aged players unless it was a qualifier for Nationals for age groups 14 and under.

Noticed the PE has multiple teams..wonder if they all played in the same event.

Actually I'm not with anybody. My son graduated from HS in 07, I just like to keep up with the talent in the state. I've heard of the PE HS aged teams and now seeing this its hard to say that there is another program in the state who can match that from top to bottom.

Again, congrats to all the kids. Maybe I shouldn't say that though, because NOT being a HATER makes me an affiliate.
