darlington is the clear cut favorite, ig and cuba will be tough too. i also agree with a lot of people that birds got the power to make a trip to madison returning everybody from their 3rd round playoff run. fenny returns needham at running back very fast and explosive. mineral point will throw all over hell this year with poad oelrich and staver. cuba returns 3-4 offensive lineman and droessler from last years conference champion team. ig returns rider and conner and andersen at qb, very experienced. then darlington returns every started on offense from last years run including 3 year starters brandt black ruf and ray. on defense all starters are back but 1. watch out for the birds making a deep run and more than likely conference championship

Darlington should be the favorite to win the Swal, . The next team to be the favorities would either be Cuba City or Iowa Grant. Fenny could make a playoff run while Southwestern could give some teams trouble. Riverdale and Boscobel will be on the lower in of confrence again. Mineral Point will only win 3 or 4 games in confrence.

I think it's safe to say the darlington boys will have a target on there back coming into the season being the clear cut favorite. I remember 2 years ago an athelete was kicked off the team because a picture was taken by an opposing teams coach.

I think the only competition for conference standings this season is going to be between fennimore, point, ig, and cuba for second place. southwestern, boscobel, and the dale will all be at the bottom like usually and dton will blow everybody out and have an easy road to a conference title

Darlington is once again looking to get back to Camp Randall and obviously have the talent to do so. Returning pretty much every starter both ways. Everything about this squad makes me believe we have something special about to happen. Last years team came out of nowhere in the playoffs last year and that was awesome to witness. I can't wait to watch them every Friday! Cuba and IG will also contend.
A goal is a dream with a deadline

Assuming the Birds are a solid D6 contender and securely in that enrollment field; would this not be the year that the sectional final pairings would create a St Mary's Springs Vs Darlington match up for a trip to State? I'm sure there are other teams that will challenge both for those spots but that would be an interesting matchup.
