All they have to do is win one out of two tomorrow against Case Western Reserve. For all intents and purposes, Case Western Reserve needs to sweep a DH from Stevens Point to advance to NCAA Division III World Series. UWSP beats Case Western 1-0 to advance to the CWS. First game is friday at 4:30pm in Appleton

If they end up losing this series to Memphis, it wouldn't surprise me to see them fire Brooks and make a run at Phil Jackson. Pah-lease Scottie Brooks is not a terrible coach. Injuries happen. Stop over reacting.

Record: 19-9 Braun: 9 HR's, 22 RBI's 15 SBs Betancourt: 6 HR's and starts > 5 games at 2B when Aram comes back Segura: Bats > .390 and steals > 18 bases Brewers trade Weeks and a pack of gum to the Nats for Jordan Zimmermann (A man can dream can't he)

WI Native Jordan Zimmermann throws a one-hitter against the Reds last night on only 91 pitches! He is really turning into an ace for this squad. 2nd complete game of the year.

That statement to leave Weeks in the 4 hole BECAUSE they are winning is like saying you would leave the same guy catching Sandy Koufax because no one can hit Koufax with that catcher catching him even though the catcher has 10 passed balls per game. If you have better options - a good manager would use them
I think you need to continually UPGRADE the team and that means getting Weeks out of the 4 hole. Weeks is 6 for 52 since the first 3 brewer games. Weeks started out 6 for 11. Not all were him batting in the 4 spot, but most were - 11 games I believe now.
You simply CANT bat an almost sure out in front of Braun - that's insane. This fiasco reminds me of last year with Weeks and of the old Bill Hall garbage. "Leave them in the lineup to WORK out of it - that rarely works these days"
I agree Lucroy started 'slow' but he is now hitting and Weeks ISNT and HASNT since the first 3 games.
Dont be so sure the manager wont move Weeks up to the 2 spot when Aramis and Hart come back. I suspect he will move Weeks to the 5 spot when Aramis comes back, but then when Hart comes back he will move him back up to the 2 spot, which is absolutely stupid.
Segura has really really surprised me - I was all for batting Lucroy in the 2 hole prior to the season. If Segura holds up, they should leave him in the 2 hole FOREVER!!!!!!
I wish Weeks would go on a TEAR and the Brewers could then trade him for something - even a dozen bats - he adds nothing to this team No, no, no. Weeks will not move to the two hole when Ramirez comes back. I garentee it. Unless Segura is in a major slump, he will stay in the two hole. Also, your comparison is dumb. You don't mess with the lineup when teams are rolling. If they moved weeks down, I wouldn't complain, but I also am not complaining right now because they are winning. Lucroy is hitting well in the five hole, leave him there. I'm not a fan of moving people around when a team is playing well. I wouldn't disagree if they did in this case, but I also don't mind it right now. When Aramis and Hart come back, do you bench weeks and start betancourt at 2B? He is on fire now relative to weeks.

I am glad these guys were stupid to stay around the Boston area after what they did but why did they not flee and why were they stupid enough to bring the police to them? These guys were reportedly very smart yet they never had a plan for afterwards. I hope we get a lot of answers. BTW, about interviewing the older brother two years ago, the FBI probably found nothing about being an extremist and what not. Don't go bashing the gov't for checking their bases and thinking that things were ok two years ago. People can change in two years.

Laker game, 3 mins left Kobe goes down with a possible torn achillies tendon. Bitter sweet since he is such a great player.

That should only put them at 19 or 20 though, unless they were held back a year when they were young.
