I have to give her credit, she's never been my favorite person...ok, I can't stand Gwen Moore, but she did pretty well with all that. You could see hints of her playing into it pretty well and didn't get all uncomfortable and weird like many of those stuffies I think would. His character is a parody of guys like O'Reilly and Hannity. What Colbert is really good at is interviewing, and the Better Know a District series is always hilarious.

The Office was my generation's Friends/Seinfeld/Cheers. Really sad to see it go, have watched since the first episode. Was never the same after Michael left, but wasn't bad either.

So I was out to lunch today with coworkers, and into the restaurant walk Nerlens Noel, Mason Plumlee, and Gorgui Dieng. Those are some tall dudes.

I really hope that he has a good career, and the battles between him and Duane Wilson are memorable. But in terms of who the better prospect is taking into account upside and other factors it's Duane Wilson.
No where did I claim to have a better eye for talent than Coach K or Roy Williams. But now that I think about it I really should just base my personal opinions on what Coach K and Roy Williams think. As I think it would make you like me Alando which is all I ever wanted. I'll just say this. Marquette offered Koenig. Wisconsin did not offer Wilson. Koenig was the guy both top programs in the state and three top programs in the country (Kansas, Duke, UNC) wanted and offered, and Wisconsin got him. For the reasons pogue mentioned, I will assume Wilson has a bigger impact on next season. IMO, Koenig is the better player and will have a better and more successful college career.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold it against UW to have a wait and see with their BIG recruiting. It seems that aspect of their recruiting isn't as polished as the rest. Because in reality, UW won't get a blue chipper by offering early. That recruit will want to go to UW regardless of when offered...IMO. Which I really don't understand...UW has been poised for a good stretch of time now where just one elite player could push them over the hump. Why wouldn't a recruit with an ego want that opportunity?
Very elite level recruits either go to a blue blood program (such as Kentucky, UNC, Duke, Indiana, UCLA, Kansas) or to their local/in state school. So, really Wisconsin only has a chance at elite guys in state. Dekker is a guy who simply wanted to play for Wisconsin and wasn't going anywhere else. He turned into an elite prospect. Tokoto was an elite prospect that UNC beat out Wisconsin for (would love to have him in the program, but he isn't a guy who could singlehandedly take them anywhere it appears). Koenig they beat out Kansas, Duke, and UNC for. We will see what happens with Looney, Stone, and Ellenson the next two years. All very highly sought after players.

Interesting, I must have missed the other Duke and UNC offers to 2013 recruits in the state. But then again, maybe you have a better eye for bball talent and potential than Roy Williams and Coach K. Luke Fischer (Indiana), Deonte Burton (Marquette), Matt Thomas (Iowa State), Duane Wilson (Marquette), and Nick Fuller (Nebraska) are all ranked ahead of Bronson on the ESPN rankings. Cool story. Again, no one else had offers from Duke and UNC. Hell, even Wisconsin only offered one of those other guys. Koenig was the biggest 2013 recruit in the state and that is why Wisconsin had to beat out UNC and Duke to get him. A teams needs enter into " offers " where they do not in " rankings ". There is no story involved here. http://espn.go.com/colle...;position=&state=55
Recruiting rankings outside of the top 25 or so are almost entirely meaningless. This is why one site can have Koenig well outside the top 100 and another can have him well within the top 100.

Koenig was the biggest 2013 recruit in the state and that is why Wisconsin had to beat out UNC and Duke to get him. To be fair, I thought I read an article where UW had regrets on not offering Fischer (not saying he would have been a bigger recruit ) but got cold feet due to the JP and EAnderson busts and missed out on early offering him. That is probably true, but Wisconsin will be able to pick him up once he gets Creaned. Let's put it this way, I don't think Wisconsin will ever have massive regrets about getting Brown and Hayes instead of Fischer. Good player, but I don't think he's a can't miss guy. I think the same thing happened with Thomas, but I've also heard that getting Koenig and Thomas was never a realistic possibility anyways. Just seems like lately the staff has been very careful about offering guys early. And the low key guys they have gotten in on early seem to be working out. (Dekker and their 2014 commit Happ who has been blowing up recently). Which I can't complain about, because they may miss on some good players, but they'll avoid the JP and EA types.
