If, for some reason, he falls, however, I would love him. He would be an ideal DE for the Packers who makes an immediate impact. Prototypical 3-4 DE. Might be another vernon gholston?

I would take Weber also, Burger next, and Buchholtz third. Not anb expert however..

As far as i know...Some of the kids that went right from football to basketball are taking a little break for a week or so. I would bet he will be there.

Who has what back from last year? I know Somerset has some back in Praschak, Miller, Buchannon, Lange, mchonehey, Larson, Piltich for the boys that are seniors. Broome and Meier for the girls are returning in the sprints...Can anyone fill in the rest?

Deppe was a great choice as POY...and yes, it has happened before for where the team winning the conference doesn't have the POY. Its not just about winning...at all costs as you are blinded by. By your own thinking, the POY in the state cannot be any player except someone that wins state, correct? Thats happened before too.
Out of curiosity what records would have been "shattered" had Weber or Elmore been the "only option"? You realize that these 2 are not even the best players to come out of their schools? So I don't know what records would have been shattered.
I am assuming You would take Micheal Schactner over Elmore at Somerset for best ever...who at Durand?

No surprise there. Great to see her talent recognised nation wide!

Lot's of kids that are picked can't play for one reason or another. As was stated earlier some are not nominated for one reason or another....The fund raising is a big part of the game but not sure that each player is aware of this until they go through the meeting that was held last sunday....All for a good cause.

I believe Mintern and Weber were 4 year starters...any team with that much experience and talent should finish higher then middle of the pack! Just saying.
