Menomonie vs Waunakee I haven't picked against Menomonie yet this season, and I don't plan on stopping now. Hopefully Menomonie will be hungry to get to state for the first time in almost 10 years and Waunakee will be less hungry since they've been there each of the past 2 years. Go BRC! That being said, anyone think it's interesting that we have a #1 seed, #2 seed, #3 seed, and #4 seed in the final four?

Menomonie keeps their playoff run going and gets to level 4 for the first time since 2007. However, it's gonna be tough as they go up against Waunakee whom many favor to win state this year. And...............Go! Menomonie vs. Waunakee (Played at Steven's Point) 1)footballguru47: 4-3 2t)Chequamegon: 3-3 2t)amped0808: 3-3 2t)MHS football: 3-3 3)dfnewburry: 1-3

Menomonie @ Tomah : I'm shocked Menomonie pounded Marshfield like they did last week. I already thought Menomonie would beat Tomah again, but this just solidifies my pick.

Another great week for the BRC! We may only have 1 team left but Menomonie played great and really showed that they are a dangerous team. Only two correct picks this week, but let's see how that changes this next week. Menomonie @ Tomah 1)footballguru47: 3-3 2t)Chequamegon: 2-3 2t)amped0808: 2-3 2t)MHS football: 2-3 3)dfnewburry: 1-3

Marshfield @ Menomonie : I haven't picked against Menomonie yet this season, so I feel that I should change that at least once. However, it's possibly the last week of the season. I gotta go with the BRC. Also, Menomonie is at home and i'm sure they'll want revenge for their loss to Marshfield last year.

Last week was rowdy for the BRC teams as they faced some tough opponents. And this week is not different, we have a monster match-up that could decide who goes to state for D2. Good luck to everyone! Marshfield @ Menomonie Rankings after week 1 are: 1t)Chequamegon: 2-2 1t)footballguru47: 2-2 1t)amped0808: 2-2 2t)MHS football: 1-3 2t)dfnewburry: 1-3

I'm still pissed about the Badger Game, so I'm gonna make this quick. The conference didn't do well this week, going 1-4, and really screwing up some of our picks. Menomonie 31 New Richmond 6 Wisco-Rapids 12 Hudson 0 Medford 26 Rice Lake 8 D.C. Everest 49 E.C. Memorial 35 1t)Chequamegon: 2-2 1t)footballguru47: 2-2 1t)amped0808: 2-2 2t)MHS football: 1-3 2t)dfnewburry: 1-3 Unfortunately we will only have 1 game for next week. Let's hope Menomonie makes our pick 'em league go well into November.

I still cannot believe that Michigan State did not get penalized for that facemask on Montee Ball the play he was injured on. He was down and the MSU player grabbed his facemask and ripped it upwards. But in this game there isn't really anyone to particuarly blame, the entire team as a group played sloppy. The Offensive Line did not provide time for Russell Wilson, Russell Wilson did not scramble out of bad situations like we all know he can and made some mistakes throwing, The special teams were just a joke tonight, The wide receivers messed up some routes and dropped some easy catches, the Defensive Line did not penetrate or get off their blocks, the Linebackers did not wrap up and tackle or take good angles, the secondary seemed out of position most of the game, and Bielema seemed to favor Russell Wilson over what Wisconsin knows how to do, run, and it cost them (felt like a replay of last years Rose Bowl against TCU). The only player that I believed played very well and didn't make mistakes was Montee Ball. However, Wisconsin didn't just "gift wrap" this game to MSU; MSU did play very hard and deserved the win. I'm curious how Wisconsin will respond next week when they travel to the horseshoe.

Also, if you guys haven't check this out yet Wlhssuperjake08 has created a march madness style bracket for the playoffs on bracketmaster.com that you can access through the High School Football forum. All you need to do is create a username and make your picks. It's pretty cool, I already did brackets for D1 & D2. I had Verona over E.C. Memorial @ state in D1 and Waunakee over Monona Grove in D2. you may now begin to criticize me for picking ECM to go to state or for not having ECM win state.

Hudson handed WR their only loss of the season 19-0. However, this time it's at WR. However, WR beat Marshfield whom some believe is the team to beat in D2 therefore, I gotta go with Rapids at home.
D.C. Everest @ #3 Eau Claire Memorial : Despite Memorial's history in 1st round games, D.C. Everest has had a tough year and Memorial is better than ever.
New Richmond @ #2 Menomonie : New Richmond lost to River Falls and Rice Lake by an average of 26 points, both of which Menomonie clobbered. I see a running clock in the 3rd.
Rice Lake @ #3 Medford Area : Another rematch of week 1, Medford beat Rice Lake 19-13. However, I feel that Rice Lake has come back since that first loss and become a stronger team. New Richmond @ #2 Menomonie........I would be disappointed if there wasn't running clock going into the second half. We are talking about a New Richmond team that isn't at the same level of Meonononie. There has never been a New Richmond team at the same level as Menomonie. Coach eckert is lucky that he played for coach labuda...I believe menomonie will take it easy on the tigers after they get the clock running. What year did he play? The name sounds familiar, but I can't recall the year. According to Reunion.com, he graduated in 1992. Not sure how reliable that is tho.
