This season in the circle she is 20-1 with a 0.35 ERA, 0.62 WHIP, and 189 strikeouts in 140 innings of work. At the plate she has a .461 batting average with 30 RBI.

Alice Fitzpatrick, Union Grove -- Fitzpatrick led the Broncos to the Division 2 state title last year, pitching back-to-back shutouts at the state tournament while allowing just 5 hits in 14 innings of work. This season she is 16-3 in the circle with a 0.54 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and 166 strikeouts in 104 innings. She's added a .493 batting average, .803 slugging percentage, 3 home runs, and 29 RBI.

Brie Tennyson, Kenosha Christian Life -- A Second Team All-State choice last year, Tennyson could be a first-teamer this year after posting a 17-2 record that includes a 0.43 ERA, 0.42 WHIP, and 293 strikeouts in 115 innings. She passed the 1000-strikeout mark for her career earlier this year after accumulating 229 as a freshman, 281 as a sophomore, 274 as a junior, and this season's 293 K's.

Kirsten Tomlinson, Poynette -- Tomlinson helped the Pumas to the Division 3 state title last season with back-to-back shutouts in the state tournament on her way to First Team All-State honors. This season she has a sterling 22-1 record with 1.14 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, and 196 strikeouts in 135 innings as the Pumas have been ranked #1 in Division 3 all year. Equally dangerous at the plate, she has a .617 batting average, 1.500 slugging percentage, 6 home runs, and 46 RBI.

Kristen Wood, Wilmot -- Wood has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the state the past several years, including taking Wilmot to a state runner-up finish last year that included a no-hitter in the state quarterfinals. A two-time First Team All-State selection coming into the season, she was recently named Gatorade State Player of the Year for 2012. She is 21-4 this year with a 0.85 ERA, 0.64 WHIP, and 293 strikeouts in 156 innings. She also hits .444 with a .753 slugging percentage while racking up 6 home runs and 35 RBI.
