Dominican's Duane Wilson has been selected as the top senior Point Guard as part of the WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards.

Wilson may be the most dynamic player in the state of Wisconsin, capable of taking over games at will with his impressive blend of skills and athletic ability. He averaged 23.9 points per game on the year and shot an incredible 59% from behind the three-point line.

One of the favorites for the WBCA's Mr. Basketball Award, Wilson has the Knights as a favorite to repeat as Division 4 state champions. During the playoffs he has averaged more than 28 points per game, including a 37-point outburst in the sectional semi-final win over Kenosha St. Joseph. He shot 62% from the floor overall and an incredible 56% from behind the three-point line. He also averages 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per contest.

He recorded a triple-double in a win over Catholic Central on February 2nd, with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Recruited by top schools across the country, Wilson chose to stay home and play for Marquette.

Finalists for the award were Wilson, Adam Beyer of De Pere, Carlin Dupree of Milwaukee Bay View, Eric Kittel of Brillion, and Austin Malone-Mitchell of Milwaukee King.

Carrington Love of Piux XI received the award last season.
