Brookfield Central's Riley LaChance has been selected as the top senior Point Guard as part of the WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards.

LaChance was the catalyst behind Central’s 22-0 regular season record and No. 1-ranking among Division 1 schools in Wisconsin the latter portion of the season.

His ability to score, pass, defend and make clutch plays is evident nearly every time he steps onto the court. The Vanderbilt recruit is a 6-foot-2 combination guard, but his play-making ability is most definitely one of his biggest assets.

As a senior he averaged 23 points per game, shooting 80.5% from the free throw line, while connecting on 70 three-point baskets. A four-year varsity starter, LaChance helped the Lancers to an appearance in the Division 1 sectional semi-finals, where they went down in overtime to Milwaukee King.

Finalists for the award were LaChance, Paul Miller of Kettle Moraine, Turner Moen of Lake Mills, Adam Pohlman of Neenah, and Cam Ward of Marshall.

Past winners of the award include Dominican's Duane Wilson (2013) and Pius XI's Carrington Love (2012).

WSN Senior Basketball Awards are selected by WisSports.net staff.
