Brown Deer's Davante Jackson has been selected as the top senior Post player as part of the WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards.

An athletic and long post player with excellent size (6-9) and developing skills, Jackson helped Brown Deer to the title in the Eastern Division of the Woodland Conference by averaging a team-best 14.7 points per game. His ability to rebound and block shots are also big assets for the Falcons, who take a 21-5 record into the state tournament with a 13-game winning streak.

On the season, Jackson shot an incredible 70.3% from the field, with a solid 69.2% from the free throw line. He pulled down 8.3 rebounds per contest to go with 3 blocks per game as he patrolled the interior for the Falcons.

Finalists for the award were Jackson, Isiah Daniels of Campbellsport, Zack Goedeke of Valders, Caleb Mortag of Brookfield Central, and Parker Weber of Aquinas.

Past winners of the award include Germantown's Luke Fischer (2013) and D.C. Everest's Luke Heller (2012).

WSN Senior Basketball Awards are selected by WisSports.net staff.
