Favorite Sport: "Baseball because I feel like it is the sport that I have the most fun playing, and comes most natural to me. I am open to focusing on one sport if that is what a college would ask of me, though."

Best Part of High School Sports: "The best part of high school sports if you ask me is building relationships with teammates and coaches and learning how to communicate with people socially. Some of the friendships are life changing and are people you will stay in touch with the rest of your life."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "My best advice from a high school coach came from Coach Berger, who always kept me calm before games and could commonly relate to my nerves. He told me to just keep playing how he knew that I could, and don’t be nervous because it is not the end of the world if I mess up. And when I mess up, just bounce back."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "Three-time state champions in basketball is nice and obviously huge, but this year definitely felt different because I actually felt satisfied with my performance up state unlike the past two years where I felt like my performances came up short. A missed fast break layup haunted me in last year’s tournament and I made sure that didn’t reoccur."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is the friendships that come within each of the sports. Friends like Chris Topp, who I’ve been teammates with since we played on the same soccer team in second grade, and Quinton Miller, who I have played baseball with since third grade, are both perfect examples of friendships I have made through sports."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part about being a three sport athlete to me is getting enough sleep on a nightly basis, followed up closely by school work. Sleep is extremely important to me because I get headaches often and it is normally triggered by a lack of sleep. Also making the adjustment from playing football to basketball, and basketball to baseball and being in the groove of things from the start of each season. Being a three-sport athlete, I don’t have much of an offseason to prepare for any of the seasons, I just show up and play from the first day of practice."

Favorite Opponent: "Without a doubt playing Racine St. Catherine's in basketball. Every time we played them, we knew it was going to be a difficult game and we would need to come out and give it our all. They are a well-coached team that knows how to win and hustle is never a question with them."

Favorite Professional Teams: "I am a hometown fan so it needs to be the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers. My teammates Quinton Miller, Jon Morris, Austin Moutry and I believe that we have all the answers to help the Bucks. We are die-hard fans."

Favorite Professional Athlete: "In baseball, Mark Trumbo of the Arizona Diamondbacks because we play the same positions and play similarly.
Former player Ritchie Sexson was my hero growing up. I was Ritchie Sexson three times for Halloween. In basketball, it's Chandler Parsons of the Houston Rockets."

Favorite College Teams: "I follow players, not teams."

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: "Kevon Looney, David Burrell in AAU when they were on the Rebels and I was on the Wisconsin Scholars. They had a loaded team with those two plus Jerrelle Deberry. We had LaMonte Bearden, Brian Bearden, Wisconsin football commit Billy Hirschfeld, and CJ Polk.
Diamond Stone in practice was always good competition also. He never stops competing and is one of the best teammates I’ve ever had."

Most Admired High School Teammate: "Sam Starke because ever since my first day of high school, he was always the upperclassman that helped me adjust to high school and explain to me how everything works. He is now one of my lifelong friends and he may have single handedly helped me get through high school."

College Plans: Undecided

Activities Outside of Sports: "I tutor for K5 students at St. Monica’s Grade School every Thursday as a part of my Christian Service class. I love kids and helping them. Everyone always tells me how great of a dad I’m going to be one day."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Go on long walks and drives. Really calms me down and is my go to thing whenever I need time to myself to think. Always a good option when you live in a house with two younger brothers.

Favorite TV show: "Chappelle Show, Psych, Scrubs, Friends, Family Guy. Love Dave Chappelle. His stand up, his former cable show, anything he does is hilarious."

Favorite Movie: "Law Abiding Citizen, Accepted. Not much of a movie person. Enjoy chick flicks surprisingly, but also like comedies and dramas. Never seen any of the “Harry Potters.”

Favorite Musical Artists: "Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B, Tech N9ne, Childish Gambino, OutKast. Really listen to basically anything. I love Harry Chapin, “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins, and “West End Girls” by The Pet Shop Boys, so I truly love all different types of music."

Favorite Subject: "Media Productions because I have enjoyed learning how music videos and movie scenes are created and made so realistic and perfect. Also Christian Service, which is a class that is based around being involved and giving back to the community. I love Christian Service because there is no better feeling than knowing that you are making a difference and improving someone’s life."

Favorite Restaurant: "Elsa’s and Kopps. Both owned and started by the same person and it shows."

Favorite Website: "RealGM Sports Forum, where I read others opinions on what is going on with my favorite teams, specifically the Bucks and Brewers. Also ESPN Fantasy Sports because I just began doing fantasy sports this year and I love it. Currently in two fantasy baseball leagues with people in the school."

Other Family Members: Father, Mark from Marquette High School; mother, Margaret from Pius XI; older sister, Molly, currently a sophomore at St. Louis University; and younger brothers, Will, a freshman at Dominican; and Ben, a sixth grade students.
