Every Friday the Wisconsin Sports Network and the Prep Baseball Report will bring you a week in review of all the latest news and highlights throughout the baseball season.

Here’s a look at the top stories this week.

+ Janesville Craig senior Wyatt Olson has committed to Indian Hills Community College in Iowa.

+ Nathan Hendrickson, a senior RHP from Shullsburg-Benton has committed to UW-Whitewater. Hendrickson is a returning First Team All-Conference selection for the Six Rivers West Conference champs.

+ The Prep Baseball Report 2016 National Rankings have been updated and expanded to 150. 17 Wisconsin prospects made the list topped by No. 8 overall Gavin Lux (Indian Trail, 2016).

+ The list of no-hitters continues to grow, with seven this week, including five on Thursday. Several of the ones from Thursday had some significant storylines.

James Oelke of Ithaca became the second player this year to throw two no-hitters, shutting down Kickapoo in a 4-0 win. Shiocton's Mitch Ebben also had a pair of no-no's this season. Hortonville's Dan Borek was part of a combined no-hitter last week, and on Thursday threw a 5-inning no-hitter of his own.

Another no-hitter was thrown on Tuesday, April 15. Brady Leahy of St. Croix Falls no-hit Cameron striking out seven and falling one hit batsman away from a perfect game. On Wednesday Arik Tavs (Waupun) tossed a no-hitter in the 5-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran. Tavs struck out 11 in the no-no.

+ The possibility of significant changes to the high school sports landscape, including in baseball, was put off for now at least when the WIAA member schools voted to send the private school 1.65 Multiplier to committee for further study.
