Arcadia's Taylor Haines has been selected as the top senior Pitcher as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
Haines has been outstanding for the Raiders this season, leading them to a perfect record heading into the state tournament and named Coulee Player of the Year.
Taylor is 27-0 with a 0.45 ERA, 317 strikeouts, and 16 shutouts for the Raiders. She has thrown three no-hitters in the circle for Arcadia. Taylor also collected an increidible 28 strikeouts in a 13-inning win over West Salem on May 5.
Haines is also an outstanding hitter, carrying a .476 average with 5 home runs and 28 RBI, while also collecting 20 doubles and scoring 37 runs.
Arcadia (28-0), No. 1 in the Division 3 WFSCA Coaches Poll, will play No. 2 Grantsburg in a State Semifinal on Friday afternoon.
Finalists for the award were Haines, Anna Conard of Green Bay Preble, Tiffany Killiam of Waupun, Abby Klopp of Baldwin-Woodville, and Nicole Newman of Madison La Follette.
Sarah Fonk of Westosha Central won the award last season.
