Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association West All-Stars went 3-0 in the All-Star Classic. The West All-Stars are this week's PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week.
In West's first game, Eau Claire Memorial's Dalton Roach and Holmen's Greg Rooney combined to no-hit the East and win the contest 3-0 on Friday.
Roach pitched the first four innings while earning the win and striking out four. Rooney tossed the final three innings with three strikeout and earned the save.
West beat South 4-2 in their second game.
Stevens Point's Cal Giese earned the win going four innings and striking out two hitters. He also added a double and three RBI at the plate.
West edged North 7-4 in their final game.
Eau Claire North's Logan Berg pitched the first 3 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on eight hits while walking four and totaling three strikeouts. Cumberland's Jonah Lundequam earned the win in relief, he allowed two runs on one hit while walking four and striking out two.
Giese one again came up big at the plate, he went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI. Following his efforts in the three games Cal was named MVP of the event.
