South Milwaukee baseball coach John Galewski notched his 400th career victory last Monday. Coach Galewski is this week's PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week recipient.

The Rockets defeated Shorewood 4-0 at Henry Aaron Field to give coach Galewski his 400th career win in his 27th year as head coach, all with South Milwaukee. There are only 14 coaches in summer basetball history with more wins than Galewski.

He is a 2012 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Inductee.

South Milwaukee (16-12) earned a No. 4 seed for the WIAA Summer Baseball Playoffs and will host 13-seed St. Francis on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Galewski is also the head coach of the WFCA South-Large All-Star that will play this Saturday at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.

The Splash of the Week is sponsored by PlayInTheDells.com. It highlights the player, coach or team that has "made a splash" in the world of high school sports. This could mean coming out of nowhere to do something great, going above and beyond the call of duty, etc.  If you have a nominee for Splash of the Week please send it to info@wissports.net.
