Sussex Hamilton running back Drew Patterson made his presence felt in a big way at the WFCA All-Star Game over the weekend, and is this week's PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week recipient.

Patterson is no stranger to success, rushing for more than 4800 yards and 64 touchdowns over the last three years for the Chargers and head coach John Damato. At the WFCA Large School All-Star Game in Oshkosh on Saturday, he stood out among the best of the best in the entire state.

The Western Illinois recruit led the game with 48 yards rushing, scoring on a pair of short touchdown runs. He also hauled in 7 catches for 71 yards.

The South team captured a fourth straight victory over the North squad in the Large School game, 24-8.

The Splash of the Week is sponsored by PlayInTheDells.com. It highlights the player, coach or team that has "made a splash" in the world of high school sports. This could mean coming out of nowhere to do something great, going above and beyond the call of duty, etc.  If you have a nominee for Splash of the Week please send it to info@wissports.net.
