The popular Football Friday Night show continues to expand, and WisSports.net is excited to be a part of it once again. Originally airing on The Big 1070 in Madison, last season the show also aired on The Big 920 in Milwaukee. For the upcoming high school football season, two new markets and outstanding partners have been added.

WBIZ SportsRadio 1400 in Eau Claire and FM95.3/1570 AM WSCO in Appleton will air the show as well in 2014.

Football Friday Night is hosted by WisSports.net Content Manager and Football Writer Travis Wilson along with The Big 1070's Mike Pilch, and airs each week of the high school football season (except Week 1 this year due to conflicts with Packers preseason and Brewers baseball broadcasts), and into the playoffs as well. The show will air from 9:30 to 11:00 every Friday night, and feature coach interviews, score updates, recaps, analysis and much more from the top games around the state.

Said CCME Eau Claire Sports Director Jimmie Kaska:  “I’ve been waiting (and asking) for years for WisSports.net to get a radio show for us to air here in Eau Claire. Their entire staff does such a fantastic job covering high school sports in Wisconsin, and in our market, nothing is more important in our local sports coverage than what happens at the prep level.”

The show is a part of WisSports.net's continued commitment to high school sports and the football community.

"We've been a part of Football Friday Night for more than eight years, and it continues to get better and better with our friends at The Big 1070 and Clear Channel, and the expansion to include more markets is a natural and welcomed addition," said WSN's Travis Wilson. "Not only does it allow us to get our brand in front of more people, it allows us to connect with even more coaches and fans around the state. We've worked very closely with WBIZ and WSCO for many years and done dozens of interviews with our great partners at those stations, and are thrilled to be on board with them for this joint venture."
