Prep Props - Week 1

Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning.

Week 1 Rushing Leaders

Waunakee did not have the kind of season we've come to expect from them in 2013, going just 5-5 and falling in Level 1 of the playoffs. That included an opening week loss to Madison Edgewood. The Warriors made sure they got off to a better start in 2014, and avenged that defeat at the hands of the Crusaders with an impressive 49-21 victory on Thursday. Senior running back Troy Laufenberg came up huge, carrying the ball 28 times for 350 yards and 5 touchdowns.
