Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning.

Week 2 Rushing Leaders

Spencer Francis of Brookfield Academy led the state in rushing in Week 2 with 295 yards and 5 touchdowns on 17 carries. Impressive enough, but especially so when you consider he is the team's quarterback, and also threw for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Knights won a shootout over the Milwaukee Pulaski co-op, 58-30.

Week 2 Passing Leaders

The Burlington versus Racine Horlick game was very exciting, with Horlick getting a 42-35 win in a game where neither team ever led by more than a touchdown. While Horlick had three rushers with at least 99 yards, Burlington did its damage mostly through the air, as Brad Burling completed 19 of 32 passes for 370 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Week 2 Receiving Leaders

Brown Deer posted a dominating 48-0 win over a solid Laconia team in Week 2, as the Falcons racked up 261 passing yards and 216 on the ground. Quarterback Zach Baun hooked up with Nyles Williams 7 times for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day. Williams not only led the state in receiving yards in Week 2, he is the season leader so far with 324 yards.
