Springs took down Wautoma 30-12 in Week 2, and senior Zach Hintze played a big role in many areas. On defense he recorded an interception, but made his bigger mark with his leg. He connected on all three field goal attempts and all three extra points, including a 57-yard field goal just before halftime. The 57-yarder ties him for 6th on the state's all-time list of longest field goals. It is the longest in the state since a 58-yarder by Sun Prairie's Lucas Otto in 2011.
