Prep Props - Week 4

Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning.

Week 4 Rushing Leaders

As the weather turns colder, the running game will take on an increased role around the state, which will result in some higher number of carries for primary running backs. Not many are likely to top the 40 carries by Slinger's Dwayne Corbitt however, as he went for a state-best 367 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 34-13 win over Watertown on Friday. After Watertown jumped out to a 7-0 lead, Corbitt scored a pair of first quarter touchdowns to put the Owls up for good, as they moved to 2-0 in the Little Ten and 3-1 overall.
