Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year. We have added an 8-Man Coaches Poll this season.

Division 1

Not much changed in the top part of the Division 1 Coaches Poll, with Kimberly still holding a considerable lead in the voting. The rest of the top five consists once again of Germantown, Fond du Lac, Arrowhead, and Bay Port. Middleton's win over Madison La Follette in Week 4 led the Cardinals to take the place of the Lancers at #6. Muskego's dominating victory over Waukesha West vaulted them into the poll for the first time as well, as the Warriors are 7th. Hudson slipped just outside the poll despite a win last week, with Appleton North, Mukwonago, Oak Creek, Sun Prairie, and Franklin also receiving votes but currently sitting outside the top ten.

Division 2

Homestead is now a unanimous #1 selection atop the Division 2 Coaches Poll, with former #2 Waukesha West's loss to Muskego dropping the Wolverines to #6. South Milwaukee moves into the top five for the first time at #5. Waunakee (formerly #5) and Cedarburg (#7) also suffered losses last week, and while Cedarburg dropped out of the rankings completely, Waunakee did remain in the #10 spot.

Division 3

It was a rough week to be towards the top of the D3 poll, though Wisconsin Lutheran remains unscathed at the #1 spot. Catholic Memorial lost a close battle against Arrowhead and slid from #2 to #4, while former #4 Reedsburg lost on the road to Monona Grove and dipped to #7. Notre Dam had been ranked 7th, but a loss to Bay Port leaves them just inside the rankings at #10.

Division 4

Some semblance of consistency descended upon the Division 4 poll for the first time in quite a while, with only one loss by a ranked team last week. Somerset is on top once again but is getting a strong push from Brodhead/Juda. Wrightstown's dramatic win over Kewaunee coupled with Platteville's loss to Black River Falls allowed the Tigers of Wrightstown to re-enter the rankings at #8.

Division 5

Stanley-Boyd, Amherst, and Arcadia continue to occupy the top three spots in the Division 5 Coaches Poll, but Kewaunee's loss to Wrightstown caused the Storm to move down from #4 to #7. Lancaster moves back up to 4th, followed by Roncalli and Chetek-Weyerhaeuser. Bloomer is new to the rankings this week at #10, with Cambridge dropping out.

Division 6

Shiocton is the #1 team in Division 6, and the Chieftains have a huge game coming up in Week 5 as they take on CWC-8 rival Amherst, who is ranked 2nd in D5. Saint Mary's Springs narrowly avoided an upset at the hands of Omro and holds onto the #2 position, followed by Edgar. Hurley flip-flops with Athens for the #4 spot. Boyceville moves into the rankings at #10, replacing fellow Dun-St. Croix Conference member Spring Valley, who went down to Colfax.

Division 7

Like Division 4, the D7 poll was uncharacteristically stable for Week 4. Owen-Withee is #1 by a small margin, though Catholic Central did slide ahead of Almond-Bancroft for the #5 spot. Losses by Hillsboro and Clear Lake dropped them out of the rankings, with Potosi and Frederic moving in this week at spots #9 and #10 respectively.

8-Man Football

The teams in the 8-Man Football Coaches Poll did not change, but there was some movement in positioning. The top five was again the same, with Green Bay NEW Lutheran leading the way, followed by Gibraltar, Prairie Farm, Bruce, and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah. Siren's loss to Bruce dropped them one spot to #7.
