Offense
Andy Puccini, Senior (Bartlett, Ill.), Running Back of UW-Platteville
Puccini totaled 202 yards rushing and 41 yards receiving in a 26-21 victory over University of Dubuque (Iowa) on Sept. 13. He averaged 6.7 yards on 30 carries and topped off his performance with a 30-yard touchdown reception.

Alex Johnson, Junior (Milan, Ill./Rockridge), Outside Linebacker of UW-Platteville
Johnson led the Pioneer defense with a sack force fumble, an interception and four tackles in a 26-21 triumph over University of Dubuque (Iowa) on Sept. 13. His interception stopped Dubuque’s opening offensive drive on UW-Platteville’s 23-yard line. He also scored a special teams touchdown on a Pioneer fake field goal, which was the game’s first score.

Special Teams

Tarter came up with two big special teams plays in the team’s game at Simpson College (Iowa) on Sept. 13. He blocked two kicks - the first block came on a 32-yard field goal attempt late in the second quarter. The second came midway through the fourth quarter, a blocked extra point attempt.
