We've seen several new state records set over the last few years, but one of the biggest and most prestigious went down Friday night, as Wautoma senior running back Nathaniel Loging rushed for 524 yards in a 62-7 victory over Wisconsin Dells.

Loging's yardage shatters the previous state record of 465, set by Donte Steward of Milwaukee Marshall in 2005.

The 524 yards were accomplished on just 31 carries, as he averaged 16.9 yards per carry, accounting for 6 touchdowns. Loging had 267 yards at the half, and broke the record on his final carry of the game, a 78-yard touchdown run.

Stay tuned to WisSports.net as we will have a full feature story on Loging's performance coming on Monday, including comments and information from Wautoma head coach Mike Klieforth.
