It was a historic night for Wautoma running Nathaniel Loging, who shattered the previous state record for most rushing yards in a game. In a 62-7 win over Wisconsin Dells, Loging carried the ball 31 times for 524 yards and 6 touchdowns. The previous mark was set in 2005 by Milwaukee Marshall's Donte Steward, as he rolled up 465 yards. Loging had 267 yards at halftime, and broke the record on his final carry of the game, a 78-yard touchdown run.

The numbers put up by Brookfield Academy quarterback Spencer Francis have been nothing short of staggering this season. That continued in Week 6, as Francis completed 25 of 36 pass attempts for 401 passing yards and 4 touchdowns. Oh yeah, he carried the ball 16 times for 119 yards and a score as well. He's now 4th in the state in passing yards on the season with 1465, and tied for first with 19 touchdown passes. He is 12th on the rushing list with 1008 yards, and tied for 6th with 16 rushing scores.

Belleville got into a shootout with Waterloo Friday night but ultimately came out on the short end in a 47-36 loss at the hands of the Pirates, despite putting up 575 yards of total offense. That included a pair of 100-yard rushers, plus a big game throwing the ball from quarterback Ryan Hayes, who went for 361 yards and 3 scores. Most of his completions were to senior Brandon Shemanski, who hauled in 12 passes for 237 yards and 3 touchdowns.
