Spencer girls volleyball captured the Bud Nelson Invitational on Saturday at Abbotsford, winning all seven matches. The Rockets are this weeks PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week recipient. 

Spencer swept six of seven matches at the Bud Nelson Invite on Saturday. They beat Loyal/Granton 25-18, 25-13; Waupaca 25-19, 23-25, 15-12; Colby 26-24, 25-22; Pittsville 25-11, 25-12; Wisconsin Valley Lutheran 25-8, 25-13; Stratford 25-14, 25-18; and Abbotsford 25-22, 25-18. 

Macie Weber finished with 54 kills and 15 blocks, Marisa Johnson compiled 50 kills and 102 digs, Courtney Buss totaled 106 digs, while Brooke Kettleborough finished with 73 assists for the Rockets on the day. 

The Rockets also earned sweeps over Columbus Catholic and Gilman in Cloverbelt-East play last week. 

Spencer (25-1) ranked No. 5 in the Division 3 WVCA Coaches Poll will face Colby and Neillsville in Cloverbelt-East action this week.
