A 23-play scoring drive that chewed up nearly 11 minutes in the third and fourth quarters propelled Stoughton to a 13-12 win over neighboring Oregon in the "Highway 138 Bowl" on CW57 Sports.

With the victory, Stoughton becomes playoff-eligible as they try to secure their first postseason appearance since 1998, which also happens to be their only playoff game in school history.

After a first quarter where neither team was able to gain much traction, Oregon got on the board early in the second quarter on a 4-yard touchdown pass from Trent Ricker to Alex Duff. Stoughton answered just before halftime to take a 7-6 lead into the half. Oregon went ahead 12-7 in the third quarter, but a monumental drive by Stoughton led to a 1-yard scoring plunge by Alex Zacharias with just over 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter, and the Vikings defense closed things out from there.

Check out the "East Side Bowl" on CW57 Sports this weekend as Madison East and Madison La Follette, who share Lussier Stadium, square off. The replay of the game can be seen on CW57 at 6 pm on Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday.
