We knew the search for possible solutions to the WIAA's Competitive Equity issues would be a process, but not every step of the process produces significant new information.

With that in mind, the meeting notes obtained by WSN from the WIAA's Ad Hoc Committee rendezvous held on October 1st aren't earth-shattering by any means, and serve mostly as a recap of the discussions and feedback received at the seven WIAA Area Meetings held around the state in September.

The Committee is still focusing on and researching three primary solutions:

1. Reducer based on free & reduced lunch numbers
2. Long-Term Success Factor
3. Boundary (geographically limited, open enrollment, sports specific multipliers)

However, little to no new information on any of these plans or their potential impacts was discussed at the latest meeting. The notes do outline additional discussions of the Committee, and indicates the next meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 28th at the WIAA Office.
