Ryan Coenen of Franklin boys volleyball has been selected as the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week for the week of October 6 through 12 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,823 votes cast this week and Coenen received 920 of them. Jessie Geske of Fall Creek girls volleyball finished second in the voting with 771 votes. 

Coenen compiled 24 kills and posted a .568 hitting percentage in the Sabers 3-1 win over Kenosha Bradford on Thursday. 

Ryan has 279 kills, 60 aces, 28 blocks, and digs for the Sabers this season.
