Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees, October 13-19

Below are the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of October 13 through 19. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Jordan Bahr, New Holstein/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah boys soccer, finished with 11 saves, including 2 in the shootout to help defeat No. 1 seed Xavier to advance to the D3 Secionals. They won the shootout 4-3 after playing to a 1-1 tie after regulation. He also compiled 8 saves in their 1-0 win over Fox Valley Lutheran on Tuesday. 

Claire Czerwonka, Kenosha St. Joseph girls tennis, captured the Division 2 singles title on Saturday, beating top seeded Tallie Piaskowski of Roncalli in the championship match, 6-3, 6-3. 

Tess Hackworthy, Madison Edgewood girls golf, captured the Division 2 individual medalist honors with a 6-over, 36-hole total of 150. 

Lexi Keberle, West Bend East girls tennis, won the Division 1 singles championship for the second consecutive season, defeating Emily Kolbow of Arrowhead in the championship match, 6-0, 6-3. 

Loren Skibba, Middleton girls golf, won the Division 1 individual medalist honors with a 36 hole 147 (+3) to finish four strokes ahead of the second place finisher.
