Ashwaubenon came up short in Level 2, falling to Superior 56-35 in a shootout between outstanding quarterbacks James Morgan and Nick Mehlum. A Jaguars receiver made what may be the play of the year in the state of Wisconsin however.

During a wild second quarter that saw the teams combine for 35 points, Ashwaubenon receiver Sam Wisneski ran a deep route down the right sideline. James Morgan stepped up in the pocket and heaved it up. Wisneski had his defender beat but the ball was a bit underthrown. As the Superior player closed the gap, he moved in Wisneski's field of view with his back to the ball. So, Wisneski did the only thing he could...he reached around the defender and caught it behind his back. He turned and raced to the end zone as the Superior defense wondered what they had just seen.
