Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees, Oct. 27-Nov. 2

Below are the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of October 27 through November 2. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Annie Frisbie, River Falls girls cross country, won the Division 1 Individual State Championship. She finished in a time of 17 minutes, 59.14 seconds. 

Bobby Gaertig, The Prairie School boys soccer, scored to goals to lead the Hawks to a 2-0 win over St. Thomas More in the Division 4 State Championship game.

Olin Hacker, Madison West boys cross country, won the Division 1 Individual State Championship. He finished in a time of 14 minutes, 59.10 seconds, nearly 35 seconds faster than the second place finisher.  

Anna Nyberg, Tomahawk girls volleyball, compiled 25 kills and 14 digs to help Hatchets to a 3-1 win over Barron and advance to the Division 2 State Tournament. 

Peter Raymonds, Brookfield East boys soccer, led the Spartans to the Division 2 State Championship by scoring 2 goals in their 2-0 victory against Cedarburg in the title game.
