Air National Guard Level 2 Player of the Week Nominees:

Andrew Connelly, Freedom - Connelly recorded a perfect passer rating of 158.3 after completing 19 of 22 passes for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 35-0 shutout of Southern Door in the Division 2 playoffs.

Zach Hintze, Saint Mary's Springs - Hintze drilled a 36-yard field goal earlier in the game and has a 57-yarder to his credit earlier this season, but when he lined up for a field goal with just a few seconds left on the first half clock Friday night, he was about to make history. Hintze connected on a new state record 61-yard field goal to put the Ledgers ahead 20-0 as they rolled to a 41-0 win over Algoma. Video of the kick can be found here.

Jacob Mason, Slinger - Mason made a 37-yard field goal as time expired to give the 4th-seeded Owls a 17-14 win over top seed DeForest in a Division 2 state playoff game. He also added 79 rushing yards on 8 carries to lead the team.

Nick Mehlum, Superior - Mehlum out-dueled fellow All-State candidate James Morgan of Ashwaubenon on Saturday, completing 19 of 31 passes for 335 yards and 6 touchdowns as the Spartans claimed a 56-35 victory to advance to Level 3. Mehlum now has more than 3000 yards and 38 touchdowns on the season.

Jonathan Stiever, Cedarburg - Stiever was dynamic on offense for the Bulldogs, who erased an earlier regular season loss to Germantown with a 42-21 victory to advance to Level 3. Stiever carried the ball 25 times for 216 yards and 3 touchdowns, and caught 5 passes for 131 yards and a score.
