Bobby Gaertig of The Prairie School boys soccer has been selected as the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week for the week of October 27 through November 2 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 8300 votes this week, Gaertig received 3,614 votes. Olin Hacker of Madison West boys cross country finished second with 3,594 votes. 

Gaertig scored to goals to lead the Hawks to a 2-0 win over St. Thomas More in the Division 4 State Championship game.
