Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees, November 3-9

Below are the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of November 3 through 9. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Kelley Berk, DSHA girls volleyball, compiled 18 kills and 5 blocks to lead the Dashers to the Division 1 State Championship with 3-2 win over Muskego, 26-28, 25-11, 23-25, 25-21, 15-10. Beck totaled 12 kills in their State Quarterfinal win over Kimberly and 13 kills in their State Semifinal win against Germantown. 

James Caldwell, Middleton boys volleyball, compiled 16 kills to help the Cardinals defeat Kettle Moraine 3 game to 1 and advance to the State Tournament. 

Brad Larson, Wauwatosa East boys volleyball, tallied a team-high 41 and added 7 blocks to help the Red Raiders knock off second-ranked Brookfield East 3 games to 1 and advance to the State Tournament. 

Madeline Mosher, Waterloo girls volleyball, finished with 19 kills to lead the Pirates to the Division 3 State Title, sweeping Marathon. She compiled 21 kills and 13 digs in their sweep of Howards Grove in State Semifinals. 

Mariah Whalen, Newman Catholic girls volleyball, finished with 33 kills to lead the Fighting Cardinals to the Division 4 State Championship, defeating Southwestern 3 games to 1. Whalen compiled 34 kills in their State Semifinal win over Clayton.
