Arrowhead boys volleyball knocked off the top two seeds in their sectional to advance to the state tournament for the first time since 2005. The Warhawks are this week's PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week

Arrowhead entered the tournament as the fourth-seeded team in their Sectional before beating top-seed Germantown in four sets and second-seeded Homestead in straight sets to advance to state for the fifth time in school history.

In their Sectional Semifinal win over last year's State runner-up Germantown, Joey Dittman finished with 44 assists and Michael Pepitone collected 16 kills for Arrowhead.

In their sweep of Homestead, Dittman once again play a key role, not only with his setting but also had some key blocks.

Mitchell Pralle finished with a team-high 11 kills, while Pepitone contributed, and Riley Voss added 6 to help the Warhawks to the victory.

Arrowhead (19-13) will face Appleton North (25-6) in a State Quarterfinal on Friday, November 14th at 8 p.m.

The Splash of the Week is sponsored by PlayInTheDells.com. It highlights the player, coach or team that has "made a splash" in the world of high school sports. This could mean coming out of nowhere to do something great, going above and beyond the call of duty, etc.  If you have a nominee for Splash of the Week please send it to Norbert Durst
