Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of December 8 through 14. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: December 8-14

Ethan Bublitz, Kettle Moraine Lutheran boys basketball, scored 35 points in the Chargers 68-52 win against Laconia on Friday. He made 4 three-pointers and went 7-for-11 from the free throw line. 

Brandon Connett, Baldwin-Woodville boys hockey, scored 11 goals last week. He netted 5 goals in their 10-2 win over Chequamegon/Phillps on Thursday, 3 goals in their 7-4 win over La Crosse Logan/Central on Saturday, and scored 3 goals in their 8-2 victory against Amery on Tuesday.

Alyssa Correll, Superior girls basketball, broke the Spartans single-game scoring record on Tuesday night when she scored 38 points, including knocking down 9 three-pointers in their 71-65 win over Grand Rapids, MN. On Friday night she scored 19 points surpassed 1,000 points for her career in the Spartans 82-44 win over Proctor, MN. 

Canon O'Heron, Bangor boys basketball, he scored a career-high 38 points in the Cardinals 65-53 win over Mondovi on Saturday. He totaled 32 points in their 69-47 win over Wonewoc-Center on Thursday. 

Ania Smith, Menominee Indian girls basketball, finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists, and a block in the Eagles 51-34 win over CWC-10 favorite Wild Rose on Friday. She also totaled 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in their 52-49 win over defending conference champ Marion on Tuesday. Smith went 18-for-22 from the free throw line in the two games.
