Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of December 15 through 21. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: December 15-21

Olivia Freckmann, Pius XI girls basketball, finished with a game-high 16 points in the Lady Popes 53-38 win over No. 4 New Berlin Eisenhower on Tuesday. She finished with 15 points in their 53-41 win over No. 3 Pewaukee on Friday. 

Lara Harlander, Frederic girls basketball, scored 36 points and added 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals in their win over Solon Springs on Thursday. Harlander also finished with 28 points and 7 steals in their victory against Birchwood on Tuesday. She went 25-for-38 from the field in the two games. 

Ryan Jackson, Sturgeon Bay boys basketball, scored a team-high 12 points to help the Clippers 42-39 win over Green Bay NEW Lutheran, ending the Blazers 34-game Packerland winning streak. Jackson also scored 13 points in a 50-36 win over Lomira. 

Teagan Vezina, Pacelli boys hockey, finished with a goal and an assist in their 4-3 win over Eau Claire North to win the Marshfield Tournament on Saturday. Vezina also compiled 3 assists in their 7-4 win over Marshfield. 

Brett Wittchow, Laconia boys basketball, finished with 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in the Spartans 78-57 win over Omro on Thursday. He also scored 28 points and added 6 assists in their 70-40 win over West Bend East on Saturday.
