Division 1

It's awfully close, but Germantown continues to hold off Stevens Point for the top spot in the Division 1 WisSports.net Coaches Poll presented by ProStar. As they've been for a while, Milwaukee King is not far behind in 3rd. After Kimberly lost to Kaukauna for a second time, the Papermakers slipped from 4th to 7th this week. One-loss Muskego, who continues to fly under the radar despite an outstanding season that will include a Classic Eight title, is now 4th, followed by De Pere. Marquette moves into the rankings in a tie for 10th this week with Milwaukee Riverside.

Division 2

It was an interesting week for Kaukauna. The Ghosts knocked off rival Kimberly for a second time on Tuesday, then went down at Oshkosh North on Friday to move to 19-2. Would that be enough to maintain the top spot in the rankings? By a narrow margin, it was, as Kaukauna finished just ahead of Pius XI and Seymour. Mount Horeb also went down last week, dropping from 4th to 8th. Pewaukee is new to the rankings this week, as the surging Pirates have a recent win over #2 Pius XI on their resume.

Division 3

The top three is unchanged from last week, with Kettle Moraine a strong favorite in the #1 position, followed by Prescott and Xavier. There was some movement elsewhere, including losses and corresponding slides by Ripon (3rd to 6th) and Freedom (5th to 8th). Keep an eye on defending champion Brown Deer, who has flown a bit under the radar this year after losing some strong players from last season. The Falcons are up to 4th this week with a 17-4 mark, that includes 10 straight victories, including impressive wins over Pewaukee, Homestead, and Greendale. They've played largely a D1 and D2 schedule this season, with the lone D3 contest a 102-59 romp over University School.

Division 4

For a second straight week, Dominican suffered a loss, but for a second straight week, the three-time defending champion Knights hold on to the top spot nonetheless, just as they have every week this season. Mineral Point, Regis, Racine St. Catherine's (the team to beat Dominican on a Kelly Thomas buzzer-beater), and Marathon once again round out the top five. Unity, a state tournament team last year, moves into the poll at 19-2, taking over the 10th spot.

Division 5

With former #1 Randolph going down last week, it seemed inevitable a new team would take over the to spot. But who would that be? #2 Bangor certainly had a case, but so did #3 Port Edwards. By a very narrow margin, Port Edwards got the nod in the Coaches Poll however, with Bangor 2nd once again. Randolph slipped to 4th, behind Wausaukee (who has two losses, not one as reported in the AP Poll this week once again). Hillsboro and Hustisford enter the rankings this week at #9 and #10 respectively.
