Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Shooter Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Senior Girls Basketball Awards -- Shooter Finalists

Maddie Dunathan, Hortonville -- Dunathan has connected on 53 three-pointers for the Polar Bears while connecting on over 36 percent of her attempts. She is averaging 15 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game for the FVA champs. Hortonville play Mosinee in a Division 2 Sectional Semifinal tonight. 

Natisha Hiedeman, Green Bay Southwest -- Hiedeman is averaging 25.3 points per game for the Trojans while making 51 three-pointers (36%). The Marquette recruit notched a career-high 37 points in a victory over Bay Port in February. She also scored 32 points, which included the game-winning half court shot at the buzzer to beat Pulaski in Regional Finals. Green Bay Southwest plays Notre Dame in a Division 2 Sectional Semifinal tonight. 

Sammy Kozlowski, New Berlin Eisenhower -- Kozlowski connected on 57 triples while shooting better than 51 percent. For the season she averaged 16 points, 4.6 assists, and 2.8 steals per game for the Lions. The Minnesota-Duluth recruit scored a career-high 29 points in their win against Milwaukee Riverside. 

Mikayla Voigt, Kettle Moraine Lutheran -- Voigt has 43 three's on the season with a three-point percentage of 37.7. The Northern Illinois recruit is averaging 15.8 points per game for the Chargers. Kettle Moraine Lutheran faces St. Thomas More in a Division 3 Sectional Semifinal tonight. 

Chloe Wanink, Cameron -- Wanink is third in the state in scoring with 28.4 points per game and has made 39 triples (38.6%). The Wofford recruit has over 2,000 career points and notched two 35-point games this season. Cameron faces Athens in a Division 4 Sectional Semifinal tonight.
